Tuesday night will mark the first meeting of the season between Philadelphia and Memphis; last year the Grizzlies beat the Sixers 99-94 on the road in January and 102-91 at home in February, of course covering the posted spread at the sportsbooks both times.

Philadelphia will want to put forward a better effort on Tuesday than they did in their last game on Sunday – a 92-91 road loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. That made it three consecutive losses for the Sixers, who are suddenly slumping.
Jrue Holliday led the way with 20 points for the Sixers in their losing cause on Sunday.
The Sixers won’t have center Spencer Hawes in the lineup on Tuesday night, as he’s now out indefinitely with an Achilles injury. Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph is expected to be able to return to action in early March; he’s been out since January with a knee injury.
